The QB1 single‑port air release valve comprises a body, bonnet, stem, float, and nozzle. Designed for DN50‑DN200 pipelines, it vents trapped air to prevent binding and resistance. In case of pump power failure, the valve automatically admits air to protect the system. Available with threaded or flanged connections.
When gas in the pipeline needs to be discharged, air enters the valve chamber under water pressure and is released through the seat opening. Water then fills the chamber, raising the float to close the seat and achieve self‑sealing. During normal operation, air gradually accumulates in the upper part of the chamber, causing the float to descend and open the seat, allowing air to escape through the exhaust nozzle. The float then returns to its sealed position. This cycle repeats continuously while the valve remains open. For inspection or cleaning, the valve should be closed.

Single-port exhaust valve use and main performance specifications:
1. This valve is suitable for water and hot water pipelines with a temperature of no more than 100°C, so that the air in the pipelines can be discharged.
2. Install a double-port exhaust valve, and a protective valve and ball valve (Q41F-16) must be installed at the bottom to avoid water outage.
3. If there are special standard requirements for flanges, please indicate the flange standards and forms on the contract.
