Air Trap

During compressed air production, moist air is heated as it passes through the compressor. As the unsaturated vapor cools to a certain temperature, moisture condenses into droplets and is carried along with the compressed air. Additionally, lubricating oil used for compressor operation may also enter the air stream. These oil and water contaminants can lead to equipment issues and should be removed promptly. In such applications, air traps are used to help separate oil and water, supporting reliable equipment performance and helping maintain operating efficiency.

Natural Gas Trap

The natural gas trap is a fully automated, self‑operating valve that uses float and lever balance principles to separate gas and liquid in natural gas production, and to automatically discharge accumulated water from storage tanks, with minimal leakage during operation. It adapts to a variety of operating conditions, helps purify wellhead gas, and effectively separates impurities, supporting energy efficiency and environmental protection.

Trap valves

The liquid drain valve operates based on the specific gravity or density difference between media, using resulting liquid level changes to actuate the valve disc for automatic discharge of heavier liquids while helping to prevent gas or lighter liquid from escaping. In various industrial applications, these valves are known by different names—such as drain valves, liquid drains, condensate drains, compressed air drain valves, automatic drain traps, water drain valves, and float-type drain valves—yet they share many commonalities in structure and function.

Drain Valve

A drain valve automatically discharges liquids of higher specific gravity while helping to prevent gas or lighter liquid from escaping. It operates continuously, opening when heavier liquid accumulates and closing when none is present. The valve is used in petroleum, chemical, food, papermaking, metallurgical, and related industries for separating heavier liquids or water from lighter liquids.

Sanitary traps

A sanitary steam trap is a thermostatic trap designed to discharge condensate from clean steam systems.
