The double‑port air release valve is a commonly used pipeline device, installed at high points or locations prone to air pockets, to release trapped air and help maintain smooth and normal pipeline operation. In the event of power failure or pump stoppage, negative pressure may develop within the pipeline, potentially causing vibration or rupture. The air release valve can promptly admit air to help mitigate such risks.

The QB2 flanged double‑port model is suitable for water and hot water pipelines with operating temperatures up to 100°C, allowing effective venting of accumulated air.

Notes:

1.For pipelines with D > 350 mm, the single‑port model (QB1‑10) is recommended.

2.A protective ball valve (Q41F‑16) should be installed below the double‑port air release valve to facilitate maintenance and prevent water loss.

3.If modified flange dimensions are required, please specify the connection size when ordering.

This valve is intended for water and hot water service with a maximum temperature of 100°C.
